Identity and security are joined at the hip and will continue to be over the next five years.
The reasons are pretty simple. Security is required to ensure that the identity system is not
compromised and identities are the foundation for describing the resources to be secured.
You can’t have traditional security without an identity system because you will not know
who is entering the system or what their rights are. You also can’t protect assets enough to
do identity in the first place.
